The Tinubu Campaign Organisation (TCO) has congratulated Senator Monday Okpehbolo on his resounding victory in the September 21, 2024, Edo State Governorship Election.

In a press release signed by its National Co-ordinator, Joshua Ohioma Ilevbare, TCO stated that Senator Okpehbolo’s triumph represents the unequivocal mandate bestowed upon him by the overwhelming majority of Edo State’s indigenous people across all 18 local governments.

The organization, describing him as the people’s choice, said Senator Okpehbolo’s genuine concern, unalloyed love and commitment to effective governance resonated with Edo’s citizens, aligning with APC principles.

“We are delighted that Senator Okpehbolo’s unwavering dedication to the well-being of Edo’s citizens and his commitment to effective governance, aligned with the All Progressives Congress (APC) principles endeared him with the electorate”, Ilevbare said.

According to him, the people of Edo State have spoken decisively through the ballot, entrusting Senator Okpehbolo with leadership as the triumph of truth, the beauty of democracy, and trust.

The group appealed to the good people of Edo State and well-meaning Nigerians to rally support for the Governor-Elect in his effort to transform the state through his carefully planned manifesto.

TCO National Coordinator further stated, ”this victory will propel the Governor-Elect to deliver purposeful governance, benefiting all, regardless of affiliations.”

The support group reiterated its commitment to standing by, working with, and supporting Senator Okpehbolo, urging the Governor-Elect to extend a hand of fellowship to opponents, inviting collaboration to serve.

Expressing his profound gratitude to APC leaders, the group said, “we sincerely appreciate the distinguished Senator Adams Oshiomole, Rt. Hon. Prof Julius Ihonvbere, OON, DSSRN (House Leader) and other leaders for their sacrificial contributions .“
