President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, at the weekend, congratulated Mr Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on his 60th birthday.
Mr. Morka is a renowned human rights lawyer, urban development specialist, and founder of the Social and Economic Rights Action Center (SERAC). His distinguished career also includes his role as a former legal director of the Civil Liberties Organisation (CLO). He is now the chairman-designate of the Board of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
In a statement in Abuja by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga the President joined “the leadership and members of the APC, as well as Morka’s family, friends, and associates, in celebrating the milestone birthday of a committed party stalwart and strategic thinker.
“President Tinubu acknowledges Mr. Morka’s crucial contribution to advancing the APC’s communication and publicity efforts and profoundly values his unwavering dedication.
“He commends Mr. Morka for articulating and effectively communicating the party’s vision, policies, and achievements. He notes that his intellectual acumen and steadfast commitment have significantly bolstered the APC’s public engagement.
“As Mr Morka prepares to embark on his additional role as Board Chairman of NTA, President Tinubu expresses confidence in his ability to provide the leadership necessary to transform the national broadcaster and usher in a new era of high-quality content across all its channels.
“The President prays for God’s blessings upon Mr. Morka and his family and wishes him many years of good health, wisdom, and exemplary service to the nation.”
Similarly the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has congratulated Morka “on the joyous occasion of his 60th birthday”.
In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary Edwin Olofu, Ganduje described Morka as “a committed party stalwart and a distinguished public communicator whose unwavering dedication and service have immensely contributed to the image, growth, and development of the APC.”
Ganduje stated: “As the National Publicity Secretary, Barr. Morka has consistently projected the ideals of the party with uncommon clarity, dignity, and discipline, standing as a dependable voice of reason and resilience in the face of political challenges and misinformation.
“Barrister Felix Morka is a pillar of strength and integrity within our party. His prowess in information dissemination and intellectual depth, legal acumen, and strategic communication skills have continued to add value to the progressive agenda of the APC.
“On behalf of the National Working Committee and the entire APC family, I extend our warmest felicitations to him as he marks this significant milestone,” the National Chairman said.
Dr. Ganduje prayed for continued good health, wisdom, and many more years of impactful service to the party and the nation.
