Top Players Listed For Lagos Invitational Table Tennis Championship

The top 32 male players across the country have been listed for the monthly invitational table tennis championship scheduled to hold in Lagos on Sunday July 17.
The one-day championship holds at Lagos Country Club in Ikeja on Sunday July 17 and it has been sanctioned by the Nigeria Table Tennis Federation (NTTF).
According to the organisers of the competition, the championship is meant to keep the players busy as well as to unearth more talents for the country.
The tournament is sponsored by Friends of Table Tennis and it is expected to hold monthly at same venue.
In a statement issued ahead of the championship, the organisers said that the monthly tournament will afford Nigerian players opportunity to be match ready at all time and also will afford NTTF the opportunity for talent discovery. It is hope that other lovers of the game will take a cue from this and support the sport that has continued to regain its lost glory in the country.
Among the players listed for the competition are Segun Ajetunmobi, Kazeem Makanjuola, National Sport Festival champion, Hammed Adeyinka, Gbenga Ajulo and a host of others.
