Governor of Adamawa state, Jibrilla Bindow has told a mammoth crowd in Yola, the state capital, that he may probe past administrations of the state if they push him to the wall.
Bindow said he does not want to join issues with anybody in the state as the masses of Adamawa had voted him to only work and take the state out of the shackles of underdevelopment and that many of the state’s elites are not happy with that.
He reiterated to the people who converge under the platform of “Team Bindow” to show their support for him, that the White Paper and records of previous governments investigated by the Justice Bobboi Panel of investigation were still available to either indict them or wash them clean of all forms of offences.
Bindow who spoke in Hausa language made the disclosure on Wednesday at the Banquet Hall of Government House, Yola during a solidarity visit to him by the political group known as ‘Team Bindow’.
His words: “The past administration left the state in rumbles of under development. I took the bull by the horns to embark on aggressive road constructions and the state is given a face lift.
‘’ I have to tell you the truth because you people voted me into power; any group which attempts to undermine this administration would not be forgiven by God, I was brought up not to fight. I have not come to steal and will not steal. The job I’m doing I have not borrowed any kobo from any bank; please go and cross check at various bank.
‘Team Bindow’ has over 200 political associations under one umbrella. The group pledged to support the governor come the 2019 gubernatorial elections in the state.
Chief of Staff to the Governor Alhaji Abdurahaman Abba Jimeta, said the Saudi Arabian authority has identified with the good conduct of the pilgrims from Adamawa and pledged to support the present government in its developmental stride in the state.
