National Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Adamu, has claimed that his party has 43 million members, which number is enough to secure the Presidency for its Standard Bearer in the 2023 Presidential Election, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and other elective posts nationwide.

Adamu touted the membership numbers on Wednesday, 15 June, 2022 while receiving the Polish Ambassador to Nigeria, Her Excellency, Joanna Tarnawska, in his office at the APC National Secretariat, Abuja.

However, Adamu said the APC was conscious of the import of a free, fair 2023 general election on the country’s development as well as its effect on other African countries.

Therefore, the APC national chairman pledged that the ruling party would conduct a free and fair poll.

Ambassador Tarnawska said her country was interested in political developments within Nigeria and would like to see a peaceful transition to another president after the tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari ends next year.

She also called on the APC to create opportunities for women and young persons to participate in politics.

Ambassador Tarnawska added that Poland looked forward to improved bilateral diplomatic relations between both countries, particularly in improved economic relations.
