Chief Press Secretary to the former INEC Chairman, Mr. Rotimi Lawrence Oyekanmi, on Tuesday, 7 October 2025 expressed gratitude to members of the INEC Press Corps for their support during his tenure at the commission.

In a statement in Abuja, the former INEC image maker urged continued support to the acting chairman of INEC, Mrs. May Agbamuche-Mbu.

Oyekanmi wrote: “It’s been such a wonderful journey and I cannot thank you enough for your support, dedication and love over the last nine and a half years. I am indeed immensely grateful to you all.

“Please continue to cooperate with the Acting Chairman, National Commissioners and Directors of the Commission. They need your cooperation now more than ever.”
